Aaron Ramsey Among Juventus Players Offered to Premier League Clubs

Aaron Ramsey is one of several Juventus players the Italian giants are hoping to sell to Premier League sides in an effort to raise funds for the incoming manager Andrea Pirlo, according to a report in Italy.

The former Arsenal midfielder has endured an injury-plagued debut campaign at Juventus, starting just 11 Serie A games as he mustered three goals and a single assist.

Manager Maurizio Sarri was sacked at the end of the season, despite winning the league title, and the incoming Pirlo - an iconic former player with no managerial experience to speak of - is reportedly keen to move Ramsey, among others, on in an effort to replenish a bloated and expensive squad.

The Premier League could be a possible escape route for several of Juve's unwanted players and Ramsey is thought to have attracted the interest of Crystal Palace and West Ham United according to the Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport. Juventus are demanding a £22.5m fee for their current number eight.

Manchester United are another Premier League outfit thought to be tempted by the 29-year-old but even the Red Devils might be put off by the prospect of matching his astronomical wages - thought to be around £400,000-per-week - in Turin.

The Wales international is far from the only Bianconeri player linked with a move to English shores. Brazilian winger Douglas Costa is another to have garnered the attention of Manchester United. While Costa's compatriot Alex Sandro may offer a solution to Manchester City's extensive woes in the left-back position.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are supposedly keen on Federico Bernardeschi, Juve's 26-year-old Italian forward.

Newly-promoted Fulham are another club to be added to the ever-growing list of Premier League sides linked with Juve's castoffs. The reigning Italian champions are keen to offload third-choice goalkeeper Mattia Perin to the Cottagers for a fee in the region of £11m.
