Kiraly signing U-turn

Long-term Palace target Gabor Kiraly is set to be announced as the latest of Dowie’s new signings once he completes a medical.

The Hungarian stopper’s transfer to Selhurst Park looked over after he rejected personal terms, and it seemed the 28-year-old would instead be drafted in as cover for David James at Manchester City.

But an abrupt change of heart has seen Kiraly accept a two-year deal to play for the Eagles next season. The transfer was revealed by Simon Jordan on the official site, and will be officially confirmed before the end of the week.

"I've made the most important decision of my life, that's why I was so patient," Kiraly told skysports.com.
"Crystal Palace is a young team, hungry for success and the coaches expect us to avoid relegation.
"To do this we need superb team play and we will have to do our best."
