The experienced left-back missed the Eagles' 1-0 defeat against Bristol City last time out because of a one-match ban but is back in the fold for the match at the Walkers Stadium.

Centre-back Paddy McCarthy could also be poised to return after he also missed out after struggling with a shoulder problem following his recovery from surgery and again faces a fitness test.

If McCarthy is fit enough to return one of Matt Lawrence and Danny Butterfield are likely to drop to the bench.

Warnock is also set to be without influential midfielder Ben Watson who continues to recover from a hamstring problem.

Leicester could be without top scorer Matty Fryatt.

Fryatt, who has scored 23 goals in all competitions this season, has spent the week nursing the ankle injury that forced him off at half-time in the 2-1 home win over Hereford.

He was replaced by Paul Dickov on Sunday and the diminutive Scot is on standby to face his former club should Fryatt fail to recover.

Defenders Marc Edworthy and Chris Powell will also hope to be involved against their old employers.

Aleksandar Tunchev missed the Hereford game with a groin strain and the Bulgaria international remains a doubt so Michael Morrison could keep his place at the heart of the Foxes defence.
