Morrison could make Eagles return

Crystal Palace favourite Clinton Morrison could be on the verge of returning for a third spell at Selhurst Park. The 31-year-old striker, who is the Eagles' fourth highest all-time goalscorer with 113 goals, is a free agent after leaving Coventry at the end of last season. New Palace manager George Burley wants to strengthen his attack and admits Morrison is a player who interests him. "We are looking to bring at least another striker in," Burley told the South London Press. "We've got one or two on the radar and Clinton is one of them - but we are looking at one or two other options." Burley is also set to hold talks with former Manchester City and Burnley left-back Stephen Jordan.
