Vaughan set for Rovers return

There were fears the on-loan Everton striker could miss the run-in after he limped off at the end of last Saturday's 2-1 defeat by relegation rivals Scunthorpe.

But his ankle injury is not serious - and the bone he broke in his hand when he punched the dressing-room wall in frustration will not keep him out either.

"He should be fit to play on Friday," said Eagles manager Dougie Freedman.

Palace are three points ahead of Scunthorpe, who occupy the final relegation spot, and two behind Rovers.
