Wilfried Zaha Ready to Seal Ligue 1 Move With PSG & Monaco Keen

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is prepared to head to Ligue 1 this summer in search of more success, with Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco both keen on landing the Ivorian's signature.

90min revealed back in June that PSG and Borussia Dortmund had both placed Zaha on their wish list after it became clear that he was keen to seal a move away from Selhurst Park, but Monaco have now thrown their hat into the ring as well.

Zaha had hoped that a move to another English team would materialise. Everton were keen before Carlo Ancelotti took control of transfers, while Newcastle's failed takeover bid has forced them to withdraw their interest.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have both tracked Zaha but now believe that the coronavirus outbreak has made financing a move impossible, and a source has now confirmed to 90min that Zaha has accepted he may need to move overseas to take the next step.

PSG's interest dates back to January, when Zaha linked up with agent Pini Zahavi, who helped broker Neymar's world-record move to the Parc des Princes in 2017.

However, first-team opportunities may not be as easy to come by in Paris, with Kylian Mbappé, Neymar and Ángel Di María all vying for minutes in his position, so Monaco have emerged as a viable option.

Les Monégasques recently hired former Tottenham head of recruitment Paul Mitchell as their sporting director, and Mitchell is understood to have recommended that Zaha be added to the team's wish list.

The main stumbling block for Monaco is Zaha's price tag, which currently sits at close to the £80m mark. Palace's demands stem from the fact that Aaron Wan-Bissaka was sold for £50m last summer and they believe Zaha's experience should make him a more valuable asset.

Sources close to the deal have told 90min that unless that figure drops 'significantly', Zaha may find himself forced to stay at Selhurst Park for at least one more season.
