Coppell in Brighton link

Steve Coppell has been interviewed by Brighton chairman Dick Knight concerning the vacant managers position at the Withdean Stadium. Coppell is amongst the favourites to take over from Peter Taylor, but Brighton can expect competition from Wimbledon for Coppell's services.
Coppell has managed Palace on three separate occasions and left his post at Brentford following their play off defeat in May.
