Palace have reportedly accepted an £8.5m bid for star striker Andrew Johnson – but it's unclear from which club.

It is believed either Wigan or Bolton have tabled the offer, which would be a record incoming transfer fee for Palace.

But Eagles chairman Simon Jordan revealed he would leave it to AJ to decide whether to join the top bidders or hold out for another club.

"One club's close to matching our valuation. But whether Andrew Johnson decides to join that club is another matter," he said.

AJ would reportedly prefer a move to Everton and may be hanging on for them to come in with a high enough bid.
