AJ Targets Sky Blues Fixture

The Palace striker picked up a knee injury in the away game at Reading last week and following surgery manager Iain Dowie anticipates that the England forward is likely to be sidelined for a further three weeks but could return to the side when Palace meet Coventry on 15th October.

"It could have been a six to eight-week thing but we never thought it was as dire as some people were predicting," Dowie has said.

"We hope to have him back for the Coventry game in mid-October."
