Akinbiyi injury blow

Akinbiyi played the for last 12 minutes of the 1-0 defeat against his former club but came away from the Walkers Stadium with a knock to the same knee which has seen him sidelined for the majority of this season.

“Ade was caught with a nasty challenge,” Francis told the clubs official website.

"We think he’s jarred his knee. We’ll have to see how it settles down.

"It’s the same knee he injured at the end of last season.”
