Palace continued their unbeaten pre-season run with a straightforward win over non-leaguers Aldershot.

The Eagles' first goal came after 22 minutes, when James Scowcroft won a penalty that was converted by Ben Watson.

In the second half, Shefki Kuqi took advantage of a defensive mix-up to put the result beyond doubt.

As in the previous friendlies, boss Peter Taylor used a different side in each half of the match, with a number of youngsters getting the chance to play.

Speroni, Lawrence, Hall, Hudson, Swaibu, Kennedy, Watson, Green, Martin, Scowcroft, Kudjodji

Palace second half
