Ambrose make make return

Crystal Palace could be boosted by the return of last season's top scorer Darren Ambrose home game against Swansea. Midfielder Ambrose has been sidelined since August with a leg injury but came through a practice match in midweek and will be checked over by manager George Burley. Dutch veteran Edgar Davids is also poised to return to the squad after missing last weekend's 4-3 defeat at Preston due to a virus. But winger Sean Scannell has suffered a slight setback in his recovery from a knee injury and will sit out again. Centre-half Claude Davis serves the third game of his four-match ban following his red card against Millwall a fortnight ago. Defender Lee Hills and midfielder Neil Danns (both knee) are still missing.
