Andrews wants out

Palace striker Wayne Andrews has had enough of playing a bit-part role and wants to leave Selhurst Park.

The 28-year-old forward has featured in all but one of Palace’s matches this season, but the bulk of his appearances have come from the substitute bench.

With the arrival of Clinton Morrison pushing Andrews even further down the striking order at Palace, the former Colchester man feels it is time to move on.

"I don't want to have another year just training and playing reserves," said Andrews.

"I want to finish training on Thursday and look forward to playing on Saturday."
