Barnet 2 Palace 3

Palace were rattled by a late Barnet revival, but held on for another pre-season win ahead of their tour of Sweden.

Peter Taylor started the match with a strong line up, and was rewarded by seeing the Eagles establish a 3-0 lead within half an hour. The first was an own goal, followed by strikes from Ben Watson and Paul Ifill.

Barnet found their way back into the game after 69 minutes to make the score 3-1, and then added a second in injury time of the second half.

It was too little, too late for the Bees though, as Palace recorded another summer victory. The team now travel to Sweden where they will play IFK Gothenburg on Tuesday.

Palace:
Speroni (Flinders), Lawrence (Butterfield), Hudson, Cort, Craig, Green (Fletcher), Watson (Bostock), Soares (Dayton), Ifill (Moses), Kuqi, Freedman (Martin)
