Man City took the tie seriously and fielded a team that included new signing Joleon Lescott, Robinho, Adabayor, Shay Given, Tevez, the list goes on. Quite an incredible line up from City. I wonder if Mark Hughes can manage them into Premier League contenders. He has the parts, can he produce a product.
Palace were excellent value in the first half and were more than a match for City but as the final scoreline shows the visitors did what they had to.
