Burnley v Palace - Team news preview

Last updated : 02 March 2007 By Nik Taylor
Palace have a chance to continue their ripple of good form tomorrow as they travel to out-of-sorts Burnley.

Even Peter Taylor admits the Eagles have little more than a snowball's chance in hell of making the play-offs - but three points at Turf Moor would keep the impossible dream alive a little longer.

Injuries are still a headache for Taylor, with a number of players out or only half-fit. Stuart Green and Shefki Kuqi are definitely missing, while Jobi McAnuff, Paul Ifill, Matt Lawrence and Mark Kennedy are also doubtful. Of those, Ifill and Lawrence are the most likely to be risked tomorrow.

With his midfield decimated, that means Taylor may choose to travel to Burnley with the bold 4-3-3 formation used against Luton last weekend.

Burnley have a few doubts of their own, with Alan Mahon, Wayne Thomas and Chris McCann all likely to miss out. Striker Kyle Lafferty is definitely out through suspension.
