Speaking to the local press he said
"I'm happy, very delighted.
"It was easy enough to ignore all the speculation really.
"This season has gone better than I presumed it would, I hoped I would get a couple of games but not this much."
There had been tall of a £1m bid being lined up by Wigan but Clyne remains focussed on Palace and Neil Warnock.
"I like him as a manager and I get on with him well so I was happy when he signed his deal," he said.
"He says some good things about me and that gives me confidence and I have got to try and live up to what he says and just perform.
"Next season I want to make more appearances and to try and get on the scoresheet."
