Crystal Palace V Brighton at Selhurst Park - Match Preview

Murray return boosts Eagles

Crystal Palace welcome back top scorer Glenn Murray for the clash with his former club Brighton.

Murray missed the club's goalless draw with Hull in midweek as he sat out a one-match ban for accumulating five yellow cards this campaign and the 15-goal striker will come back as Ian Holloway's side look to return to winning ways.

After a sequence of five consecutive wins, Palace have failed to win their last two and have been knocked off top spot in the npower Championship.

Defender Darcy Blake is in contention, after missing the last two games through illness, but midfielder Andre Moritz is a doubt after sustaining a dead leg in the defeat to Leeds last weekend and missing the trip to Hull.

Skipper Paddy McCarthy and midfielder Jonathan Williams are still sidelined with groin injuries.

Brighton are almost at full strength for the derby.

Apart from Spanish winger Vicente, who has only made one substitute appearance in the league this season due to a thigh tendon problem, Gus Poyet has the luxury of a fully-fit squad to choose from.

Right-back Bruno Salter played through a rib complaint in midweek and will continue in defence, while left-back Wayne Bridge is fit after a calf injury.

Centre-back Adam El-Abd returned to the bench in midweek after recovering from a hamstring problem and is pushing for a start.

Poyet will asses Kazenga LuaLua's frame of mind after his midweek court case.
