Darren Ambrose could return from injury for Palace, but Claude Davis (back) and Neil Danns (knee) are out, while striker James Vaughan is suspended.Anthony Gardner (ankle) and Adam Barrett (foot) are doubtful, while Lee Hills and Sean Scannell (both knee) are sidelined, as is David Wright (calf).
QPR are without Bradley Orr (calf), Fitz Hall (hamstring) and recent signing Rob Hulse (Achilles).
Midfielder Alejandro Faurlin is still nursing a groin problem.
MATCH PREVIEW
Leaders QPR are the Championship's only unbeaten team and if that remains the case after this London derby, it will be the first time since the glory days of 1975-76 that Rangers have not lost any of their opening 10 league matches.
The club has had its highs and lows since the likes of Stan Bowles and Gerry Francis were strutting their stuff 35 years ago, and their current form points to a return to the top flight after a 15-year absence.
They have scored 22 goals this season - more than any other team in the second tier - and have the best defensive record, having conceded only two goals. They have kept clean sheets in all but one of their league games, which does not bode well for a Palace side that has not scored in over four-and-a-half hours of football.
Former Eagles boss Neil Warnock was given a good reception last season on his return to Selhurst Park, when he led QPR to their first victory there for 21 years. His successor George Burley is enduring a difficult start to his reign, having seen his team fail to score in five of their last six games.
