MATCH PREVIEW

Relegation-threatened Crystal Palace and Sheffield United meet in a proverbial six-pointer at Selhurst Park, where neither side can afford to lose Saturday's crunch match.

Palace have won only once since Dougie Freedman was given the manager's job. But they have climbed out of the bottom three and been replaced by United, the team immediately below them, who are yet to win since the appointment of Micky Adams as Blades boss.

The Yorkshire side have drawn their last two league matches and have gone 10 without a victory. Since beating Swansea a week before Christmas, United have picked up a paltry four points and desperately need to turn their fortunes around.

Palace's last home game was another vital match against a fellow struggling team, Middlesbrough. They won that, and their home form could be the key to their Championship survival. Of their 31 points, only six have been secured away.
