Derry makes permanent Palace switch

Shaun Derry has put pen to paper on a permanent return to Palace, after an excellent loan spell at Selhurst Park.

The 30-year-midfielder has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Derry had been at Palace on loan from Leeds since November, and his return to south London came at the same time as the Eagles' remarkable upturn in form. Palace won nine of the 12 games Derry played during his loan spell.
