Palace have signed Manchester City striker Paul Dickov on loan until the end of December.
However, the deal happened too late in the day for the 34-year-old Scottish international to be eligible to play in the next match at home to Charlton.
Dickov rejoined City last summer, but started just nine games last season without scoring.
