The South Africa midfielder, 26, is playing competitive football for the first time since October after joining the Eagles on loan from Fulham.
Dikgacoi may have walked straight into a relegation battle but he is desperate to get some valuable playing time under his belt as well as helping the south Londoners' cause.
"I came here just to get a bit of game time and to help the team out of the situation they are in right now," he said.
"I am hoping to get to play as many games as I can as right now, that is what I need."
