Donny v Palace. Match preview

Leading scorer Paul Heffernan has been ruled out of the last two games of the season with a knee injury that requires surgery, while midfielder Mark Wilson is also sidelined with a torn calf muscle.

Centre-half Adam Lockwood misses out with a problematic ankle while full-back James O'Connor is also absent with a similar complaint, captain Brian Stock has had an operation on his back and playmaker James Coppinger is out with an Achilles injury.

Defender Matt Mills is a doubt with a groin strain but O'Driscoll goes into the game knowing that his side are safe from relegation and could pair teenage strikers Waide Fairhurst and Kazenga LuaLua together for the first time.

Crystal Palace will be without suspended duo Victor Moses and Claude Davis for the trip.

Teenage forward Moses sits out with a one-match ban following his red card during last weekend's 1-0 win over Derby, and centre-half Davis is in the middle of a three-game suspension imposed by the FA for violent conduct.

Skipper Shaun Derry will not figure again this season after shoulder surgery and winger Sean Scannell's campaign is also over as he needs a hernia operation.

Neil Danns has declared himself fit following a groin injury and Nick Carle should be available despite suffering a bang on his hip against the Rams.

But midfielder John Oster (neck) and winger Paul Ifill (hamstring) are still struggling.
