With Alex Marrow still on the sidelines with an ankle problem, Swansea loanee Kemy Agustien was handed his debut against the Tykes and he will be in line to deputise again if Wright is ruled out.
Veteran midfielder Gavin Mahon, who recently joined on loan from QPR, could be added to the squad if boss Dougie Freedman feels he is fit enough.
Left-back Lee Hills (knee) is still out but right-back Nathaniel Clyne will make his 100th appearance for the club at the age of just 20.
