Stan Lazaridis could be on his way to Selhurst Park after being released by relegated Birmingham City.
The 33-year-old left winger has been regularly linked with Palace during the Dowie era, but had been expected to head home to Australia following the expiration of his St Andrews contract.
However, Iain Dowie is still keen on the Aussie international and is set to make him his first signing of the summer.
