But the Scot insists he will not be bringing in new faces just for the sake of it and has confidence in the current Selhurst squad at his disposal.
Palace are currently 21st in the Championship table and face a huge match with fellow strugglers Sheffield United on Saturday.
Freedman said: "I'm looking and I've got my targets and I'm waiting for them to become available.
"But it's not doom and gloom. I believe we have got enough to be okay."
