Freedman targets next two

Sean Scannell opened the scoring in the 31st minute with a swerving 30-yard effort that left Chris Weale embarrassed as the ball flew into the middle of the net but Matt Oakley denied the Eagles a much-needed three points with a 58th minute volley.

"It's a very good point," Freedman said. "I felt we deserved a point, we didn't nick a point, I thought we deserved it with an all-round good performance.

"At this precise moment in the season it's points that matter. But it's pleasing the way we played.

"I think our next two games against Scunthorpe and Doncaster will be crucial to our season and where we finish. It's fair to say that, there's no doubt about it.

"I think we've got enough in our locker and enough within the squad to get the vital points that we need against those two teams."
