The Palace striker is currently on loan at Leeds United, who face Carlisle in the League One play-off semi-finals.
But although his loan has been extended to enable him to play in those games for the Yorkshire club, Freedman's mind will be on Palace's matches in the Championship play-offs.
"If my wishes come true then both teams will get promoted," Freedman told BBC Radio 5 Live.
"My loyalties will be with Palace but in the meantime I've got a challenge in front of me and I'm hoping to overcome that and get Leeds promotion."
