Palace’s final pre-season friendly on the road ended in defeat, with QPR running out comfortable 3-0 winners.

The Eagles were never really in this match, with most of the team seemingly treating the game as an extension of their training sessions.

Rangers took the lead just before half-time through Tony Thorpe, with Paul Furlong doubling the lead after 55 minutes.

The scoreline was completed when Kevin Gallen converted a Kevin McLeod cross.
