Gaffe referee Shoebridge suspended

"He was scheduled to do a game in midweek. He won't be doing that. We have been working on that this morning. The ref has been spoken to," said Keith Hackett, general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials Board.

Shoebridge's name will go down in the history books for one of the top gaffe's in professional football. No doubt it'll be on a DVD for Christmas.
