Palace winger Julian Gray has moved to Birmingham City on a free transfer.
The 24-year-old was instrumental throughout the second half of the Eagles’ successful Division One campaign last season, but clearly had his heart set on testing himself at another club.
Gray will hook up with former boss Steve Bruce and ex-Eagle Clinton Morrison. He’ll almost certainly score at least one past us next season as well, if the performances of other ex-Palace players are anything to go by…
He has signed with Birmingham on a three-year deal that will keep him at St Andrews until 2007.
