Wigan Atheltic have completed the signing of Palace centre-back Fitz Hall for an undisclosed fee.
Although the numbers aren't being discussed, it's believed the Latics have paid around £3 million to secure the former Southampton player's signature.
Wigan manager Paul Jewell told the club's official site that he was delighted to have signed the 25-year-old defender.
"Fitz is a terrific capture for us, and it's a great boost that we've beaten off such stiff competition to land him,'' he said.
''We've been tracking him a long time, but of course Palace were very reluctant to let go of such an important player.
"The lad won't be fazed by the Premiership, he's played at this level before and I was extremely impressed with how he handled the challenge."
