Forgotten man Michael Hughes is likely to leave Selhurst Park before the season ends, with several Championship clubs interested in striking a loan deal.

The former Northern Ireland international has been frozen out of the Palace team by boss Peter Taylor and is resigned to leaving the club in order to regain regular first team football.

Among the clubs interested in the 35-year-old are bottom side Leeds as well as Coventry City, now managed by former Eagles boss Iain Dowie.
