Crystal Palace Manager, Ian Holloway may have left Blackpool in search of a better manager?s job but he still remembers his old players very well. Holloway is currently chasing after Blackpool wingers, Tom Ince and Matt Phillips but will face quite a bit of competition for both players.

The Eagles boss has already secured the services of Blackpool midfielder Ludovic Sylvestre who should be completing his free transfer in the next few days. The 29-year-old Sylvestre had been offered a new contract by the Seasiders but could not turn down the opportunity to play in the top flight and reunited with Holloway. Though newly promoted Hull has also shown an interest, it is believed that Holloway has the inside track to Sylvestre?s signature.

Blackpool was hoping to keep Ince around for at least another season but several clubs have already made inquiries into Ince. Tottenham, Liverpool and Fulham would all be willing to spend big money to obtain the winger should Blackpool decide to sell him to the highest bidder. It is said that Ince also wants to play in the Premier League this coming season and is looking to move.

Phillips, an up and coming star in his own right, is also under consideration by Palace since both he and Ince are wingers and the Eagles need to replace Wilfried Zaha. Holloway had hoped to keep Zaha on a loan from Manchester United but David Moyes feels his youngster is ready to play for United?s first team. Phillips is again being sought after by Southampton so Holloway again will have to battle to get Phillips also. Either way, both Tom Ince and Matt Phillips will be in the Premier League this coming season, the question is, where will they be playing?
