Ifill has never been a regular in the Palace starting line-up because of a string of injuries - and his latest return to action seems to have already come to an end.
Palace boss Neil Warnock is concerned that a knock picked up during Ifill's second half appearance on Saturday may put him back to square one.
"He did ever so well but I think he is struggling again injury-wise," said Warnock.
"I think he has felt the injury he has had for a while. We could not bring him off as we had used all of our subs, but a bright spark has soon been extinguished."
