Palace have called a press conference for 9am tomorrow (Tuesday) morning to clarify Andrew Johnson’s future with the club.
Johnson will be in attendance along with chairman Simon Jordan and Palace boss Iain Dowie.
The 24-year-old striker submitted a transfer request shortly after Palace’s relegation from the Premiership at the end of last season.
Rumours have been circulating about his future ever since, with Everton and Newcastle reported to be readying bids over the past few days.
West Brom, Spurs and Liverpool are also believed to have been interested in signing last season's top English Premiership goalscorer.
