Despite having to start the game with a long list of players out with injury, Francis felt Palace deserved to take something from the game: "We work very hard and have nothing to show for it.
"Our performance was good until we reached the last 20 yards of the pitch and in terms of possession we were dominant. But we did not create enough chances and our standard of crossing was poor.
"I was disappointed with the marking of the corner that resulted in a goal as we gave Anderson far too much space."
