Kiraly off to Villa

Aston Villa have secured the emergency loan signing of Palace keeper Gabor Kiraly, just days after he returned from a loan spell at West Ham.

Kiraly is out of contract in the summer, so Eagles boss Peter Taylor is keen to hawk him around as many other clubs as possible, in the hope of getting some cash for the player in January.

However, the one-month loan move leaves Taylor with only Scott Flinders and Julian Speroni as options for the goalkeeping spot. Flinders has let in 10 goals in three league games for Palace, while Speroni is yet to start a game this season due to injury.

Kiraly will go straight into the Villa team for their match against Bolton on Saturday, as regular keepers Thomas Sorensen and Stuart Taylor are both injured for the Birmingham side.
