Palace keeper Gabor Kiraly is almost certain to leave Selhurst Park this summer as he aims for a move back to the Premiership.
The Hungarian has a year left on his contract, but director of football Bob Dowie says Palace are now prepared to sell their first-choice goalie.
"Gabor basically came in at the end of last season and said he saw himself as a Premiership keeper and did not want to play in the Championship next year," Dowie told the official Palace site.
"He was very clear on that, so we went away and circulated Gabor's name to Premiership teams and top level teams in Germany.
"To date, frankly we haven't had too much interest, so Gabor is still here."
"It's a difficult situation for us with Gabor because he's a good goalkeeper but frankly speaking, I think we've got to try and move Gabor.
"He does not want to be here at Crystal Palace and sees himself as better than that and that's no good to us.
"I'm sorry to seem hard about it, but when someone declares they don't want to be here, they're not with you anymore."
