Palace striker Jon Macken has joined Ipswich Town on a four-month loan deal.
The 28-year-old forward will stay at Portman Road until January, when it is expected the Blues will be given the option to make the move a permanent one.
Macken had found his chances limited under new boss Peter Taylor, and the arrival of Shefki Kuqi from Blackburn paves the way for his departure.
