Boss Peter Taylor was forced to play new boy Jose Fonte in midfield at the weekend, even though the Portuguese is actually a centre-back.
However, Carl Fletcher, Paul Ifill and Jeff Hughes are all expected to be fit for the televised away game at Ipswich on Sunday.
"I'm glad we don't have a game until Sunday now, because hopefully we'll have a few more bodies available for that game," said Taylor.
"They were nearly ready for today but if we have a good week, I'm hopeful because we could do with another three coming back and that will be good for the competition."
