Matt Lawrence has signed for Palace from Millwall for an undisclosed fee.
The 32-year-old defender has penned a two-year-deal and will compete with Danny Butterfield for the right-back berth vacated by the outgoing Emmerson Boyce.
Lawrence, who can also play in the centre of defence, becomes Peter Taylor's sixth signing of the summer.
Mark Kennedy, Leon Cort, James Scowcroft, Carl Fletcher and Scott Flinders have also joined the club during the close season.
