Shefki Kuqi, Alesanne N'Diaye and Rhoys Wiggins have all been offered new deals, while second-year scholars Michael Abnett, Nathaniel Pinney and Hakeem Adelakun have been offered professional contracts.

Meanwhile, nine first-team players have been released - Ryan Carolan, James Dayton, Carl Fletcher, Scott Flinders, Paul Ifil, John Oster, James Scowcroft, Jamie Smith and David Wilkinson - along with second-year scholars Graeme Edwards and Kieron Thorp.

John Oster had the chance of an 18 month contract when he signed in January but he couldn't agree terms and he ended up signing for 6 months. Now he's on the look out for another club.

"It's a shame that at the time I could agree on the 18 month deal," Oster told the local press.

"There was a contract in place but we couldn't agree on the money for next season which was why I signed for another six months.

He added: "I've been looking for clubs for some time - it's not like I've just stumbled across this sitaution.
