The Latvia international was dropped to the bench last month following his refusal to play for the first-team in a game at Leicester.
"Alex Kolinko will be staying until I decide we have no further use for him. He's under contract, he's our employee, he'll do as he's told, as he knows," said the Eagles chairman.
"I don't suppose he's doing the dance of the seven veils about it but I'm not asking how happy he is. I'm sure he'd much rather be somewhere else but he's notbeing given that option."
