Palace are leading the race to sign Dagenham & Redbridge defender Shane Blackett, according to media reports over the weekend.
Reading, Hull City and Brighton are also believed to be interested in signing the 24-year-old centre-half, but Palace are expected to tie up the deal in the summer.
