An entertaining match ended goalless at Selhurst Park on Saturday as Palace completed their pre-season friendlies unbeaten.

The Eagles started brightly and could have taken an early lead had James Scowcroft finished off a one-on-one chance against Everton keeper Tim Howard.

But the visitors became more dominant as the first half wore on, with former Palace goal-machine Andrew Johnson leading their attack.

A raft of substitutions at the break changed the flow of the game, but Palace continued to make chances and will look back on this as a decent warm-up for the new season that starts on Saturday.

Palace: Speroni (Flinders 45), Lawrence, Craig, Cort (Hudson 45), Scowcroft (Kuqi 45), Morrison (Freedman 45), Watson (Moses 66), Soares, Fonte (Swaibu 80), Hughes (Martin 61), Green (Butterfield 45)
