A crowd of 5114 gathered at Selhurst Park on Tuesday to see the re-match of the 1990 FA Cup semi-final between Palace and Liverpool end in a 1-1 draw.

A host of famous names turned out for both sides, with all proceeds from the game going towards the Geoff Thomas Foundation in aid of leukaemia research.

The likes of Eric Young, Mark Bright, Alan Pardew and Gareth Southgate were all present for Palace, with John Barnes, Bruce Grobelaar, Jamie Redknapp and Phil Babb among the famous names to turn out for Liverpool.

Palace chairman Simon Jordan also got his boots back on for another valiant effort out wide - although he was later replaced by current boss and former Palace winger Peter Taylor.

Both goals came in the first half, with Barnes opening the scoring with a shot into the top corner. Palace equalised shortly before half time through a Bright header from a John Humphrey cross.
