Palace have landed an away trip to Preston in the draw for the fourth round of the F.A. Cup.
The draw will please few Eagles fans, who now face a long journey to one of the form teams in the Championship.
However, the chances of a replay at Selhurst Park look high. Preston have drawn nine of their 14 home league matches so far this season.
The game will be played on the weekend of 28/29 January.
