Palace fixtures released

Palace's 2007/08 Championship campaign begins with a tricky away trip to last season's play-off contenders Southampton on Saturday August 11th.

That's followed a week later by the Eagles' first home game of the season, against Leicester.

The London derbies against Charlton take place on Saturday 1st September (home) and Saturday 9th February (home).

Boxing Day sees the Eagles make the trip to former boss Iain Dowie's Coventry City. Dowie's return to Selhurst Park with City will be three months earlier, on Tuesday 18th September.

For the first time in a decade, Palace will finish the season at home. Burnley's visit on Sunday 4th May will be the first time the Eagles have wrapped up a season at Selhurst Park since the 1997/98 season, when Clinton Morrison scored on his debut in a 1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday.
